Acme Opens Chandler, AZ

Acme Construction Supply Co started operations in a new leased space in Chandler, Arizona to distribute strut, connectors and tools in the growing submarket southeast of Phoenix. Primary customers are mechanical and electrical subcontractors doing work at Intel’s nearby campus with a multi-billion dollar fab expansion underway. Stratus Developers worked on behalf of Acme to manage the tenant improvements and fit-up within the leased space.

The 19,000 sq ft warehouse space was fit-up with upright racks, for connectors and tools, plus cantilever racks, for long segments of strut. We found that permitting with City of Chandler was straightforward and prompt, reminiscent of the City of Hillsboro jurisdiction back home. Last year, Stratus had a more significant undertaking for Acme in a new 76,000 sq ft warehouse and fabrication facility in Glendale, to serve the west side of Phoenix and especially the new Taiwan Semiconductor fab in North Phoenix.
