Columbia Distributing Permit

Plans were submitted to Jackson County today to permit a warehouse for Columbia Distributing in White City, a suburb of Medford, Oregon. They will relocate their Southern Oregon beverage distribution into a larger, modern warehouse. Stratus Developers is working on behalf of Columbia Distributing and their financier parent, Meritage Group.

The land acquisition was complicated by analysis for poor soil conditions that burden some sites in the Medford valley. Also, the seller needed to complete a lot line adjustment to deliver the 9 acre site needed. Construction is expected to start in the spring of 2024 assuming that permitting goes smoothly in the Jackson County jurisdiction.
