Leatherman In For Permit

Plans were submitted to City of Portland yesterday for a new warehouse on the Leatherman campus in NE Portland near PDX. The new 62,000 square foot warehouse will be constructed on land across the street from the current headquarters and manufacturing facility. All Leatherman products are proudly manufactured in USA!

A small office will be built in the building for functions that are closely associated with warehousing and logistics. Close proximity to the factory floor and to headquarters will enhance efficiency and productivity. The building will be concrete tilt-up construction typical of warehouse buildings in this market.

Stratus Developers is working on behalf of Leatherman to manage designing, permitting and constructing the project. LRS is the architect with subconsultants 3Js Consulting on civil engineering, Lango Hansen on landscape architecture, IMEG on structural engineering and MKE on mechanical and electrical engineering. Hopefully the project can break ground this summer to take advantage of optimum summer weather.
