Murdock Trust’s New View
Murdock Trust is getting a new view, from the top two floors of the new Columbia Waterfront office building. Construction has progressed enough to snap pictures of the view that will be from a balcony on Gramor’s Block 6 with a Mt. Hood view upstream over the Columbia River in the foreground. Stratus Developers is working on behalf of Murdock Trust to manage the tenant improvements.
The 7 story building will have 70,000 square feet of space, with the ground floor reserved for retail that can take advantage of a dramatic walkway overhanging the Columbia River apparently inspired by a ship’s prow. Gramor Development has undertaken the dramatic project they call The Waterfront-Vancouver USA “destined to be Vancouver, Washington’s largest commercial, urban development to date, valued at more than $1.5 billion.” Murdock Trust is looking forward to being one of the first tenants to move in, taking the 6th and 7th floors.
