North Plains Warehouse

Excavation is underway on a warehouse in North Plains, a suburb west of Portland, Oregon. It is leased to an international logistics company that caters to the technology companies in the Hillsboro area. The 201,750 sq ft building is expected to be completed early summer 2025. Stratus Developers is working as fee developer for STAG Industrial, an institutional investor based in Boston, MA focusing on distribution warehouse properties especially in secondary markets around the US.

The site is being cement amended to winterize it against the seasonal rains. The process is to till cement into the soil and compact it. Complications of the project included partitioning the property so that the subject 10 acres could be sold by Far West Fibers to STAG.
