Summit Walls Tilted

Concrete tilt-up walls were erected at Summit Body & Equipment’s new Ridgefield manufacturing plant. Ness Campbell Crane mobilized on behalf of Concrete Alternatives and Robert Evans Company, general contractor. The three days of safe work were only briefly interrupted by a mechanical breakdown. Stratus Developers is working on behalf of Summit to manage all phases of the project from site acquisition to construction loan to move-in.

Steel imbeds at each panel are being welded together. The walls are temporarily supported by diagonal braces that will remain until the roof is framed and sheathed in the coming month. Interior columns have been stood up and main girders installed. Next comes the joists, purlins and plywood sheathing.
